Hui Dong, Ph.D.

Dr. Hui Dong joined the Songjiang Research Institute, SJTU School of Medicine in December 2023. He received his B.S. from Lanzhou University (2011) and his Ph.D. from Fudan University (2016, advisor: Prof. Huang Zhili), followed by postdoctoral training in the lab of Prof. Zhili Huang at Fudan University and the lab of Prof. Yulong Li at Peking University. Using novel fluorescent probes, he studies the dynamics and functions of neuromodulators during sleep and wakefulness; his work has been published in Neuron, Current Biology and eLife.
